Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, this is the national governmental body for the sport of rowing (both sweeps and sculls) in the United States, and is recognized as such by the IOC.
Sometimes they seem like a highly professional organization, and sometimes they seem to be a crack squad of monkeys charged with running a sporting body. In all fairness, they are a small group of people who are very overworked and try their best, and are very nice on the phone.
