Appetite for Destruction and released in
1991. It is called
part I because the band had enough material to release
Use Your Illusion II at the same time. The rock music is varied and loud, but there a number of surprisingly good ballads on the album as well, most well-known of which is
November Rain. The band's cover of
Paul Mc Cartney's
Live and Let Die was praised by many, but
loathed by some. The song Garden features
Alice Cooper. Personally, I prefer this album to
Use Your Illusion II, but many people appear to like that one better.
