Heinlein's book,
Stranger in a Strange Land. His name means "
He who is like god".
A person who was brought up on Mars as the sole human among them, because all the rest perished in a large mistake, making him the heir to their fortunes, and, by some weird laws, the 'owner' of the planet mars.
He was retrieved after being brought up as a Martian, and brought to earth where he created a huge racket, which
ended in him being killed by an angry mob.
