Valleyfair! Amusement Park is an amusement park 35 minutes southwest of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. The actual park is located off Cty Rd 101 in Shakopee, MN. The park currently has 75 rides and attractions including 8 roller coasters. The park was bought by Cedar Point shortly after its inception in 1978 to yield the company Cedar Fair. While Valleyfair! is considered the Upper Midwest's largest amusement park, it still not as high class as its sister park Cedar Point. Despite the rumors, Valleyfair! will not be bought by Six Flags and the wooden roller coaster, High Roller, was not aquired from the defunct Excelsior Amusement Park. However, the 1925 Philadelphia Toboggan Company Carousel was bought from Excelsior Amusement Park.

The newest coaster is the 185 ft tall impulse roller coaster called Steel Venom. New for 2004 will be a chidren's area named Kidworks, a change of pace from the ubiquitous Camp Snoopy of Cedar Fair. It was widely believed that the now-defunct management contract with Camp Snoopy restricts Valleyfair! from having their own Camp Snoopy and thus the generic Kidworks was born from the removed Berenstain Bear Country. The latest additions in 2005 include Riptide, a Huss Top Spin and Skyscraper, which was donated by Dorney Park. In 2006, Valleyfair celebrates its 30th Anniversary and the addition of XTreme Swing. 2007 will find the addition of the second wooden roller coaster in the park, Renegade. 2007 also marks a subtle but significant change to the park. The official name will be Valleyfair, as the exclamation point has been removed. Valleyfair! was featured in Little Big League when The Wave's splash was featured in the amusement park scene. Valleyfair!'s most prominent attractions include:
