Velio is a little computer chip company with big dreams. Formerly named "Chip2Chip", they are working on an 8-way chip for optical switching equipment. I believe the target clock speed for this chip is 3.5GHz.
Velio is currently headquartered in San Jose, California with just over 100 employees in various locations around the United States. It is not yet profitable, but landed a very large second round of venture capital funding in excess of $50 million.
