A medium-wave (770 kHz) radio station in New York City. In the 60's/70's, this was the Top 40 station, complete with all the aural cliches. The names of Dan Ingram and Harry Harrison (and others) bring back memories in New Yorkers of a&certain age. The station switched to news/talk a few years back (nickname: the "White Angry Broadcasting Company"), and is today often a mouthpiece for Rupert Murdoch and Rudolph Giuliani. And I thought WABC was owned by Disney. Silly me.
