This song is rife with sexual innuendo, 1940's style: the bird sings love songs, they pretend to talk to a minister about getting married, and later on they must "face unafraid" their plans...and maybe get laid, in the process. The cleaner lyrics, which are the last two stanzas in the previous WU, make the speaker out to be a child....who wishes to "frolic and play the Eskimo way" (at the time, Inuit were rumored to be sexually free in various ways--they often offered their wives to each other, and their children, according to one report, loved to simulate adult sexual intercourse...adult Inuit thought it was "cute". All UL's apparently...and I hope no one believes this). Tasty!
