"Black Woodstock"; a 1972 concert (and later a film documentary) put on by Stax Records as part of the Watts Summer Festival, held to commemorate the Watts Riots. The MC was Jesse Jackson of Operation PUSH. Performers included Isaac Hayes, Rufus Thomas, The Staple Singers, Richard Pryor, Eddie Floyd, Albert King, the Bar-Kays, et al. Attendance at the Los Angeles Coliseum was about 100,000, but it didn't spawn pop culture myths and hype the way Yasgur's Farm did.
