Tim Berners-Lee's autobiography, with a good description of the origin of the World Wide Web by its inventor. The first part is a nice description of the steps he took to design and promote his ideas. It is remarkable that he designed the http protocol together with html, and setup the first web browser and server. I found it amusing that when he presented his ideas at a hypertext conference, people did not believe that combining hypertext with the internet was much useful. In the second part he rants about different ideas on the future of the web and the book gets less interesting.
