It is time to dance with my wicked pen,
to weave some webly words.
Slash and spin my pointed thoughts,
light soft scratches go unheard.
Intently chewing the inky grass,
in a valley of thought I will graze.
Feeding the tales whirled in lead,
spewing forth in a temporal haze.
Come to me oh bardly wails,
pass brazenly from ear to ear.
Tunnel through the murky grey,
share a taste for this writer's wares.
The actor's gift hard earned keep,
words play aloft a paper stage.
Stealing time; eternity is cast,
in black spider trails upon this page.
