Recently, two very large video screens were installed in Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH.

I imagine that the idea was to make the place more time Times Square in New York City, but I don't think that it is working. In Times Square, I belive that the video screens are used for advertising. In Playhouse Square, the screens are tuned to the local ABC affiliate, WEWS TV5. Adelphia Cable apparently paid for part of the cost, as they have a small banner add at the top of the screens. But for now, one can watch ABC at all hours of the day in the middle of Playhouse Square.

Had I thought of it, I would have run outside to watch the live births shown on Good Morning America the other day.
