Wuffles is the extremely aged
terrier of
The Patrician of
Ankh-Morpork (of the
Discworld series by
Terry Pratchett. He is extremely old, and smells rather foul. He is rarely mentioned in the books, except in
The Truth in which Wuffles plays a vital role in the capture of the
villains.
The
Discworld Companion had, previous to
The Truth led us to believe that Wuffles was dead. Indeed, since 3 centuries appear to have passed over the course of the books, it is entirely likely that Wuffles might be a
zombie, or perhaps a
vampire.
