An arcade game released by Technos in Japan in 1986. It was later released in the US as "Solar-Warrior" by Memetron and in the UK as "Soldier of Light" by Taito.
The gameplay is side-scrolling fighter style. You play an heavily armoured futuristic soldier with rocket boots. Collecting power-ups allows you to change weapons. Your mission is visit a series of planets and destroy an enemy base on each planet.
Personally I think this is one of the best side-scrolling fighter style arcade games that has every been made. The particular manner in which your character jumps using his rocket boots is unique amongst this genre of game, and a wonderful alternative to the usual jumping style of characters in a side-scrolling fighter.
