Played by Laurel Goodwin, Yeoman J.M. Colt served on the USS Enterprise under Captain Christopher Pike in the pilot episode of Star Trek, The Cage (TOS). The young, naïve, redheaded Colt, along with Number One and Captain Pike, was imprisoned by the Talosians as breeding stock to produce a race of slaves. Colt was infatuated with Captain Pike, but for his part, he felt uncomfortable with "women on the bridge" (with the exception of his first officer, Number One – figure that one out).
