Related to Yersinia pestis and the causative agent of gastrointestinal disease, this is the species of bacteria I work with at the lab. It might not be as scary as its cousin, which causes bubonic plauge but I still feel that an infection is best when prevented, bloody diarrhea isn´t something I crave.
