Zenith O'Clock is a character in Automated Alice by Jeff Noon. Dressed all in velvet, he carries with him two books, Shurt and Solumn, and a hint for Alice about a tickling ticket. If you bend your mind this way and that a little, it is rather obvious that Zenith O'Clock is a nom de plume for the author of the last book in the trequel of books about Alice's Adventures.
