A syndicated non sequitur comic strip series, written and drawn by Bill Griffith. The series began in 1969, which has appeared in over 200 publications. Zippy the Pinhead represents such philosophical and social topics as: existentialism, post modernism, and pop culture.

The word "pinhead" is a circus sideshow term for what is medically known as a microcephalic (meaning "small skull").
