alt.life.sucks is a newsgroup dedicated to those who think that if
life is like a box of chocolates, they're only getting the
disgusting coconut-and-
cherry ones, and don't think they need to
hush up and
pretend that everything is
peachy keen like
society tells them to. The
inhabitants of
alt.
life.
sucks are often a
hardened,
cynical lot. It has some overlap with
alt.suicide.holiday and
alt.bitterness.
Once upon a time*, I wrote an FAQ for alt.life.sucks, when it was being infiltrated by a vast number of shiny happy people. We hate them and we delight in flaming their pathetic asses. Since then, the FAQ has been taken over by someone else. Sadly, I no longer have time to read this lovely little newsgroup.
