Highly funny parody of
Ayn Rand's
Atlas Shrugged, written in 1996 by
"People Covered in Fish", a regular on the rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan newsgroup.
This parody becomes funnier the more of the following conditions are met:
- Familiarity with Atlas Shrugged
- Familiarty with Usenet history
- Familiarity with the history of the
Robert Jordan newsgroups, particularly with the rivalry between rasfwr-j and
alt.fan.robert-jordan, and the styles of the rasfwr-j regulars.

Astonishingly, more than half the people mentioned are still regular posters to rasfwr-j, including John Novak himself.
This parody has become so notorious on rasfwr-j that when a poster appeared a few months ago calling himself "jgalt", everyone said "Are you taking the piss, or what?"
