A funny-looking double ended measuring device. Usually made of
stainless steel, this little thing is truly indispensable for any home
bar, as to make a proper
drink the measurements should be correct.
The measure itself has a 1 oz measurement on one end called a pony, and a 1 1/2 to 2 oz measure on the other called a jigger.
If you go shopping for bar equipment, look for a bar measure with easy to read 1/4 oz and 1/2 oz markings inside the jigger end.
