Beanbag chairs are big bags, usually made out of
vinyl but sometimes made of
cloth, partially filled with tiny soft
pellets. They're extremely comfortable to sit on, although spending too long in one can be bad for your
back (just like a
waterbed).
Though they initially were a big hit in the 70s and then began to lose popularity, beanbag chairs are starting to make a big comeback. You can now walk into most any Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Fred Meyer, or Target store (among others) and buy fairly high-quality beanbags of many different styles and shapes.
