Last night I had a dream
went outside without my glasses, staring at a blurry sky
Soft, scattered cloud pieces,
gauzy stars racing into and under them
Some cars were making noises on a nearby freeway
also vague, also muffled
Off to one side, playing hard to get
an out of focus moon
smiled
