Originally a "Cole's Notes of 20th Century History" film documentary television series, created (in the early 60s) by legendary producer David L. Wolper, and with Mike Wallace as host/narrator. The Arts and Entertainment network bought the archives and fashioned a new version, one more oriented toward a People Magazine worldview, a "Biographies of the Rich and Famous" - and there is, now, a Biography mag. The Biography of the Millennium is a welcome "return to the roots".
