440 BX. chipzilla's famous core logic chipset for pentium-class x86 CPU's.

It started at a FSB clock of 66 MHz, and prolonged its life at 100 MHz; beating many newer chips. Rock-solid, fast (back in the days, at least) and stable. Nice for overclocking.

The newer i845 shows the most potential of being the "the new BX" because it's said to be stable and fast.

A military acronym for "Base Exchange". This is essentially a glorified, cheaper version of Wal-Mart open to military personnel and their dependents (you have to show Military ID to get in). Merchandise typically includes clothing, housewares, and electronics, but not food. Food is sold at the commissary. A typical U.S. military base has precisely one BX.
