Well, you
store all kinds of things in them, like
furs,
wool clothing,
tablecloths,
family photos, whatever. They're good for
protecting things from
moths, 'cause moths don't like cedar. Cedar chests smell real good, like -- umm -- cedar. When we were
kids, we liked to dig stuff out from deep inside our
family's cedar chest, 'cause we got to see all this
old stuff that our
parents didn't want us getting into ("Hey, an authentic
Brazilian tribal mask! Let's play
Cowboys and Indians with it!") and because everything that came out of the chest smelled so good.
