A chamomile infused milk, which can be used either as a refreshing beverage, or as a beauty/medicinal product. Due to the natural properties of the chamomile flower, this milk is excellent for cleansing oily skin, or skin which is prone to breakouts. It is beneficial in healing acne, and other skin irritations, and is also devinely soothing on fresh burns, and cuts. Drunk warm before bed will help with persistent insomnia.

Place 1 cup of milk in a bowl. Warm the milk slowly by placing it over a saucepan of hot water. The milk must be kept warm, however it must never boil or form a surface skin. Add 3 tablespoons of fresh* chamomile flowers to the milk. Stir gently from time to time, being careful not to break up the flowers. Infuse until the milk smells strongly of chamomile. Strain into glass jars.
Smells good enough to drink, and it tastes great too. So you choose the use for your chamomile milk. Enjoy.

Must be kept refrigerated.
Good for 2-4 days.

*Dried chamomile flowers are better if you are using this recipe as a beverage.
