Cardamom, cardamon, cardomom, however you spell it, say it, I still really dig it.

list of stuff:
.5 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 c. milk
7 or 8 crushed cardomom pods
1 pkg yeast dissolved in .25 c. warm water
1/3 c. butter or margarine, with more to spread on the dough later, softened
cinnamon sugar to sprinkle on the dough - .25 c. will be more than enough

Make the stuff: place sugar and cardomom in a large bowl. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until butter is melted and mixture is lukewarm. Do not make this too hot or you will kill the yeast. Add to sugar mixture. Add dissolved yeast. Add flour and blend until easy to handle. Place on floured surface and knead until dough is elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place until doubled. Punch it down and let rise again. Divide the dough in half. Roll half into a rectangle, about 8x10. Spread more butter or margarine on dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Roll up the dough so you end up with one roll, 10" long. Cut the roll every inch and layer the rolls in a round cake pan. Repeat with second half of dough, or refrigerate for later use. Bake at 350, 20-25 minutes.
