coitus

The act of sexual procreation between a man and a woman; the man's penis is inserted into the woman's vagina and excited until orgasm and ejaculation occur see also: sexual intercourse, intercourse, sex act, copulation, coition, sexual congress, congress, sexual relation, relation, carnal knowledge. May be caused by alcohol or seduction or both. May result in smoking or children.

coitus: the sexual act, specifically the taking of the penis into the vagina, or the penetrating of the vagina with the penis; but more generally the complete interaction between two sexual partners. See also copulate; intercourse; mount.
