The Inferior constrictor of pharynx aids in swallowing. It acts as a type of sphincter in the throat. It is the lowest of the three.
The Middle constrictor of the pharynx aids in swallowing. This is located just above the Inferior one.
The Superior constrictor of the pharynx aids in swallowing. It is located along your lower jaw line.
