criminalize the human body

A concept pushed by conservatives and fundamentalist Christians, though they don't admit it, that they can tell you what you can and cannot do with your own body. They seem to believe that their morals are fundamentally better than yours and that they have the ability to push them on you. Often against abortion, birth control, homosexuality, transsexuality, premarital sex, and anything else they feel like but that really shouldn't concern them.

Someday, people will learn that each person should be able to do what they wish to do, so long as those actions do not infringe upon the rights of others. If a woman wants to have an abortion, that is their full right; it is wrong, however, for one person to force another into having an abortion, as that infringes on their right to reproduce. Unfortunately, it will be a long time before humankind becomes this enlightened.
