The practice of welding chassis from 2 or more automobiles together with the intention of selling said automobile to a customer who tends to be labouring under the misaprehension that he/she is purchasing a genuine vehicle. Such vehicles tend to be death traps, as proved by my mate Terry's experience (see back-breaking). Cut & shut's tend to be manufactured by dodgy geezers.
