Panoramic Photography has had quite a long history, and has been around for about a century. In 1999, digital cameras are incresingly being deployed for panoramic photography.
Some photographers use conventional digital cameras and then use stitching software to create a continuous image.
There have also been developments in digital camera technology. The Panoscan is a new camera which is able to capture a 360 degree image directly to a high-resolution digital file.
