Donec eris felix, multos numerabis amicos, Latin for as long as you are lucky, you will number (or count, have) many friends.

It is a quote from Ovidius' Sorrows (I, 9, 5), which he wrote in exile. He was one of the greatest Roman poets but died after a 9-year exile, abandoned and forgotten by the "friends" he had made in his glory days.
