The paper provides some biting political and social commentary and gives an interesting look at Moscow from an outsider’s perspective. With a section called “Death Porn” and articles with titled “Putin's night of the long knives” this site is not for the faint of heart.
One entertaining portion of the site is the bar-dak, the bar and club guide. In addition to highly entertaining, highly graphic commentary, each bar receives three numerical ratings:
- The Fahkie Factor – your odds of getting laid
- The Flathead Factor – your odds of getting killed or maimed
- The Foam Factor – how much a beer will cost you
As stated above, this site is not for the faint of heart, but how many other places can you read articles where the author tries to determine how long he can drive around Moscow with a dead body in the back of a pickup truck before he runs out of money bribing the cops.
