Fillmore the
sea turtle is one of the main characters in
Jim Toomey's
Sherman's Lagoon. He is
Sherman the shark's best friend, and seems to have more of a grasp of what is going on than anyone else in the
lagoon.
Once every year, Fillmore travels to the sea turtles' mating grounds at Ascension Island, where his vital role is mainly to make the other males look good.
