The politically correct way of saying freshman at Rutgers, specifically the Douglass all women campus. Apparently, someone found the "man" part of of freshman offensive since it is commonly used to refer to both sexes. Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a feminist, but this is a bit much. Our campus doesn't have a women's center ever since a fire way back when, but we're still worried about what to call those in their first year at the university. Smart people, them college kids.
