Strange mammalian creature seen at night. The best time to catch a glimpse of a flatmate is between 7pm and 10pm. Some subspecies will disappear to their den in order to avoid any extended interaction with the other inhabitants of the flat. More sociable flatmates will engage in preening rituals with one another, sharing food and mates. Known in US as Housemates.
