Referring to people, objects, or transmissions that have traveled back in time to the present from some yet-to-be-realized moment. People can travel back in time by accident, against their will, or on purpose. Amost everyone who comes here from the future on purpose has done it in a desperate attempt to save something. Usually they have to prevent a disaster to save something substantial, like humankind, the earth, or the universe. Occasionally it's something smaller, such as professional wrestling or banjo-driven jazz. I imagine it won't be long before someone announces "I have traveled here from the future to save Everything" (or maybe "I have noded from the future to save Everything").
