gam

Acronym for "gay Asian male". Commonly used in gay personals and on profiles for people in gay chat rooms. This information could be helpful to some people, I'm sure.

Political, administrative and military organisation operating in the province of Aceh in Indonesia. The aim of the GAM is to achieve independence through separation from Indonesia. Their struggle is fueled by the brutality, neglect, cultural imperialism and financial deprivation imposed by the Indonesian government. In early 2001, their army was said to number 20,000.

Their struggle for independence has been a bloody and violent one.
