Slang for underwear. This could be anyone's underwear but it's never a brassiere or undershirt. Gitch is of the panty/boxer variety. Since no one else has noded this I imagine it may be Canadian, possibly even restricted to Nelson and the surrounding area. see gonch

In my experience, this is used as a general term for women's panties. Gotch is used for men's underwear. Gotch is probably derived from gonch. This appears to be Canadian slang, as I too am from Canada. Usage: "Why do you always leave your gitch on the bathroom floor?"
