A gun which ejects a hot glue substance used to adhere two (or more) surfaces together.
- Insert solid glue cartridges into the barrel of the glue gun.
- Connect the glue gun to an electrical power source, causing the gun to produce the heat necessary to melt the glue.
- Once the liquid glue is ready, pressing the trigger will release the glue from the nozzle onto the desired surface.
Glue and nozzle types vary, depending upon the intended purpose
. Special purpose glues include wood and fabric glues; special nozzles include flat and needle point nozzles.
