We used to sing this very simple praise song in my high school youth group. I think it consists of maybe three chords on the guitar and five notes total, but it's simplicity is kinda cute and despite my personal beliefs against organized religion now, I still find myself humming it or singing it to myself sometimes.

It's a happy day
and I thank God for the weather
It's a happy, happy day
and I'm livin' it for my Lord
Shoobee DooWop Bop
It's a happy day
and things are gonna get better
Cause I'm livin' each day with God's promises in my heart.

The alternative is fun too. We would sing the above once, then this stanza then the first again;

It's a crappy day
and I just can't stand the weather
It's a crappy, crappy day
Cause I'm livin' it for myself
Shoobee DooWop Bop
It's a crappy day
and things aren't gonna get better
Cause I'm livin' each day with my bible up on my shelf.
