The
Hemp Car is and
alternative-fuel project car on a
mission to
educate and
demonstrate to people the
concept of hemp
fuels. The car runs on
hemp oil which is
derived from
industrial hemp plants. The
goal is to show on a
national level the usefulness of hemp and what it can do with its many uses, and
promote the
reformation of current
US law towards hemp - which
bans the farming of hemp. The car will
tour the US and
Canada on its journy, and will try and
establish a world distance record using a vehicle powered by hemp. The car will be stopping at many alternative-energy,
evironmental, and hemp-legalization events. The fuel will be provided by hemp
