An imprecise science is a science that in essence cannot follow the scientific method. This is usually a theoretical 'science' whose postulates and hypotheses cannot have verisimilitude, due to the unreliability of, and sometimes an absence of experimental evidence.

Examples of imprecise sciences are economics, psychiatry, and (and I'm gonna get FLAMED for this) theoretical physics such as quantum theory.
