Lie softly on the grass child,
Hear that distant thunder roar,
And
Stay here for a little while longer.

Find comfort in my arms-
They will protect you
When safety is but a floundering fish.

And listen to the beats of my heart
That slowly
Drive away the lightning in the sky.

Calm cascades down the mountain
In place of snow;
The bird that dies upon recovery
Takes flight in heaven's skies.

For as sure as cold gives way to warmth,
This creature of nature too shall pass away,
So fear nothing little one.

Not a t'ing.
