A 1995 film written and directed by Noah Baumbach. It starred Josh Hamilton, Olivia d'Abo, Parker Posey, Chris Eigeman, Cara Buono and Eric Stoltz.

The movie is the story of recent college graduates trying to come to terms with life after college, and failing horribly. Grover (Hamilton), whose girlfriend Jane (d'Abo) has gone off to Prague instead of moving with him to Park Slope like they'd planned, remains in his tiny college town, trying to recreate his relationship with Jane by sleeping with a lot of freshmen while pretending to work on a novel. Otis is too antsy to go off to graduate school in Wisconsin, so he defers his admission and moves back in with his parents. Max Eigeman, a philosophy major with no job prospects, sits at home drinking beer and doing crossword puzzles all day. Skippy re-enrolls in school so he can be close to his girlfriend.

This movie is a definite must-see for twentysomething slackers, but if you've actually just graduated and have no life, it may seem like the most depressing thing you've ever seen, rather than a comedy.

Sadly, this movie has never been released on DVD.
