One of
Charlie Brown's main adversaries in the late
Charles M. Schulz's classic
Peanuts strip.
Any attempt by Brown to fly his
kite would
invariably end with the kite either being stuck in a certain tree, or
mysteriously consumed by said tree, occasionally complete with
munching sound effects.
Our hero usually then verbally, or on occasion physically, assaults the tree.
Naturally, whenever anyone else tried flying Charlie Brown's kite, it would work
perfectly.
I'll miss Peanuts. It's one of those things that's been present for my entire life, and I never thought it would end.
So long, Sparky.
