In amateur radio parlance, probably an acronym for "lousy inconsiderate dummy". AKA jerk, moron, fool, luser. Fit for punishment via the dreaded Wouff Hong.

Lid (n.) Slang for a bodyboard (aka boogie board). The inferior class of surfcraft pioneered by Tom Morey in the 1970's that have infested every beach in Australia. Also known as shark biscuits.
