A love seat is a type of sofa for two people. Love seats, which arose during the Victorian Age allowed couples to sit close enough for conversation without touching.1 This piece of furniture was usually included in a parlor set along with four to six armed and unarmed chairs. While love seats were once crafted for beauty, they are now made for looks and comfort.
