A supercomputer built with off-the-shelf parts by Gregory and David Chudnovsky, brothers and number theorists. In 1989 m zero calculated 480 million digits of pi (from Gregory's apartment). They hold a handful of world records for calculating the most digits.

"Pi is a damned good fake of a random number. I just wish it were not as good a fake." - Gregory Chudnovsky
